Sworn translator at the law courts of Trani
After graduating in Foreign Languages and Literature in 1995, the following year I chanced upon translation, which immediately became my career of choice. I then worked as a translator in the field of computer science and software and hardware device localisation for about 4 years. This experience gave me an in-depth knowledge of the terminology, style and register of this field, which is particularly relevant when translating medical device documentation.
Since 2002, after meeting Federica, I have developed a passion for medical and pharmaceutical translations. However, aware of the need to acquire a deeper knowledge of the field, I decided to follow the CTI-Communication Master’s Degree in Medicine and Pharmacology in 2008. I have also completed training courses and attended CPD events for translators and healthcare professionals, including the Mediterranean Health Care Forum.
Over the years I have focused on clinical research and medical devices, keeping a close eye on the various legislative developments that regulate this sector nationally, internationally and within Europe.
